Sherri Giamarvo L.Ac.

Sherri Giamarvo, a Colorado native, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Twelve successful yet somewhat personally unfulfilling years in the financial industry fostered a desire to help others and led her to embark on a new career in healthcare.

Upon graduating from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001, Sherri moved to Asheville, North Carolina. For three years she practiced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine full time at a busy, well-established acupuncture clinic under the mentorship of the clinic’s director.

Then Sherri and her husband returned to Colorado to begin their family, and after spending 18 months at home caring for her son, she happily returned to work and caring for patients.

Sherri practiced acupuncture at Kaiser Permanente’s Centers for Complementary Medicine for 10 years and has been in private practice in the greater Denver area since 2015.

Sherri has studied extensively under Jeffrey Yuen, an internationally recognized Master of Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Medicine. She has also taught classes in acupuncture point location and is a partial owner of Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC. Sherri is NCCAOM certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs in Colorado.

Her expertise in acupuncture is known throughout the Lakewood/Denver area in treating pain, women’s health issues, and geriatric patients. She welcomes all patients looking to restore their well being, naturally.
